Our group will contribute to the 2017 - CNF with the following talks:

  • Conmutación resistiva y ferroeléctrica en películas delgadas de BiFeO3
  • Control magnético en nanopartículas de BiFeO3
  • Estudio de la dependencia angular del fenómeno de Magneto Resistencia en V2O3/Ni
  • Síntesis y caracterización individual de la respuesta ferroelectrica en nanopartículas de BiFeO3

We have publish the first all-optical ultrafast pump-probe results in VO2 across the first order phase transition. More info here

We got accepted a manuscript in Nat. Pays regarding the study of nano-imaging of the correlated oxide V2O3 phase transition. This work was done at Basov's Group and Nanoscience Lab both at UCSD.

A new paper will appear in Physical Review B titled "Collective mode splitting in hybrid heterostructures". This is the first of a series that deals with new ways to control magnons (or spin waves) with proximity effects. It is the subject of a upcoming  Invited talk @MMM conference
